When a judicial representative sends you a link to Mon Proxima to view the accounts of a protected relative, the instinct is often to search for an app on your phone. You type “Mon Proxima” into the store, and several results appear, none of which correspond to the right tool.

This misunderstanding is common, and it exposes you to real risks: fake apps, phishing pages, entering credentials on a fraudulent site. Mon Proxima is not a typical mobile application. It is a web portal accessible from a browser, published by Tutelle Au Quotidien.

Mon Proxima and the management account compliant with the judge’s model

Before discussing access or security, it is essential to understand what Mon Proxima actually displays. The portal functions as a consultation mirror of the Proxima business software, used by judicial representatives for the protection of adults (MJPM).

You do not enter anything. No banking operations, no accounting entries. The data (account statements, supporting documents, correspondence) is entered by the representative in Proxima and then made available for consultation on Mon Proxima.

Since decree n° 2024-659 applicable from January 1, 2025, each protection measure must be linked to an individualized bank account in the name of the protected adult. Mon Proxima has been adapted to integrate a management account structure compliant with the official model from the order of July 4, 2024. The document you view online reproduces the format expected by the protection litigation judge.

For a family guardian managing the measure without a professional MJPM, this clarification changes everything: Mon Proxima does not replace the paper management account required by the registry. The portal does not provide any input functions usable by the family. It remains a consultation tool, not a management one.

You can download the Mon Proxima app for guardianship in the sense of creating a shortcut to the web portal, but not in the sense of installing standalone software on your device.

Accessing monproxima.fr without landing on a fake app

The most common trap is as follows: you search for “Mon Proxima” on Google Play or the App Store, and you come across third-party apps that have no connection with Tutelle Au Quotidien. Some have similar names (Proxima, MyProxima, Proxima Care) and request personal information right from the installation.

The only reliable entry point

The official address is monproxima.fr, accessible from any up-to-date browser. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge: all work. No .exe file to download, no .apk file to authorize.

Before each login, check two elements in the address bar:

  • The URL starts with “https://” with the visible padlock, confirming that the connection is encrypted between your device and the server
  • The displayed domain name is exactly “monproxima.fr”, with no extra hyphen, no different extension (.com, .net, .org)
  • No intermediate page asks you to “update your browser” or “install a plugin” before accessing the portal

Creating a shortcut on phone or tablet

Since there is nothing to download, the practical solution is to save a shortcut on the home screen. On Android, open monproxima.fr in Chrome, tap the three dots in the top right, then select “Add to Home Screen.” On iPhone, open Safari, tap the share icon, then “Add to Home Screen.”

The shortcut looks like a regular app, but it simply opens the browser to the correct page. Updates are automatic on the server side, with no action required on your part.

Mon Proxima credentials: who provides them and what to do in case of blockage

You do not create an account yourself. The judicial representative or the guardianship service opens the file in Proxima, then generates the login credentials for the protected adult or their authorized relatives.

Did you receive a letter or email with a username and temporary password? Change the password upon your first login. Choose a combination of at least twelve characters, mixing letters, numbers, and special characters.

When the representative does not provide the codes

The law provides that the protected adult has the right to be informed of their financial situation. If the representative does not spontaneously provide access to Mon Proxima, the first step is a written request (registered letter or email with acknowledgment of receipt). If there is no response, the protection litigation judge can be seized to remind the representative of their information obligations.

Note that the consultative access granted to relatives (family, designated caregivers) is distinct from that of the protected adult. The representative chooses which information is visible for each profile.

Protection of personal data on a guardianship portal

Mon Proxima hosts sensitive information: civil status, income, assets, health expenses. The issue of security goes beyond just accessing the portal.

  • The data is stored on remote servers (SaaS model), not on your device. In case of loss or theft of your phone, no document is recoverable without the credentials
  • The representative remains responsible for data processing under the GDPR. They must be able to justify who accesses what and in what context
  • If you use a shared device (tablet in a nursing home, family computer), always log out after each consultation and never check the “Keep me signed in” box
  • Avoid saving the password in the browser on a device that is not strictly personal

The Mon Proxima portal does not currently offer two-factor authentication. This absence reinforces the need for a strong password and vigilance regarding the devices used.

One last often-overlooked point: email notifications sent by Mon Proxima (new document available, account update) never contain a link asking you to re-enter your credentials. Any email requesting your password is a phishing attempt, even if it features the Tutelle Au Quotidien logo.
